Nidalee - General Playstyle & Advice:
Farming:
Efficiently clear jungle camps, using the combination of human and cougar form abilities. Utilize spears and traps in human form and pounce and swipe in cougar form for faster clears.
Laning Phase:
Look for gank opportunities, especially in lanes where the enemy is overextended. Use spears to poke and engage with cougar form when the enemy is low.
Early Game:
Focus on securing scuttle crabs and early dragons. Look for counter-jungling opportunities if the enemy jungler is spotted elsewhere.
Mid Game:
Prioritize objectives and look for picks with your team. Your spear can be a great tool to catch out-of-position enemies.
Late Game:
In the late game, Nidalee's role transitions to a poke and heal bot. Use spears to poke before fights and heal allies with E.
Teamfights as Nidalee:
Stay in the backline, using spears to poke. When an enemy gets low, switch to cougar form to finish them off. Use your heal to support allies.
Dragon/Baron fights as Nidalee:
Use traps to provide vision around the pit. Poke enemies with spears and use smite to secure the objective.
Nidalee - Matchups:
Bad Matchup:
Rengar: A good Rengar is very hard to beat. Whoever gets the first hit usually wins unless the other is extremely strong. Play around his fury. If he has a way to get a 4 fury combo, avoid at all costs. Zhonyas or an early armguard is a good purchase.
Good Synergy:
Pantheon: His W allows you to land your spear every time. His strong early game enables your aggressive invades and ganks to work.
